Bio
Billie L. Carnathan of Palestine, Texas passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024, at the age of 98. She was born on November 14, 1925, to Ozzie Mitchell and Mamie Bush Mitchell in Palestine. Billie was a sweet person; someone you never turned your back on. She was preceded in death by her husband, Spence Carnathan; parents, Ozzie and Mamie Mitchell; and sons, Michael Carnathan and David Carnathan. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Caroline Carnathan; cousins, Charlotte Perry and husband Conley, Gary Whittle, and Mary Cheshier; grandchildren, Cody Carnathan, and Chad Carnathan; great-grandchildren, Michaela Gibson and husband Krayton, and Cameron Carnathan; great-great-grandson, Kason Gibson; as well as numerous other nieces, and nephews. Cremation services for Mrs. Carnathan are in care of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
