Daughter of Vern C. Mitton and Annie Louise Black Wife of John Plato Freemon, Jr. The March 7, 2013 edition of the Arizona Republic included: Billie M. Freemon, 90, of Scottsdale, Az peacefully passed away on February 20, 2013. Billie is survived by daughter, Linda Susan Griffith and son in law, John D. Griffith, a son, J. Patrick Freemon and daughter in law Sandee Freemon, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A private memorial service will take place at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, Calif on March 17, 2013.
