Bio

Terrell Tribune, January 27, 1938: Thursday Benjamin F. White died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. J. Ervin in the High Point Community from pneumonia. Burial in Dry Creek Cemetery Friday. Pallbearers: Melvin Jacobs, Euclid Griggs, Albert Hanselka, John Webster, Bob Hanselka and J. D. Ervin. He was born in Erath County, Texas May 23, 1873. He married Miss Fannie Wells September 18, 1897, who with one child preceded him. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Ellie White and Mrs. A. J. Ervin; two sons, Clyde and Claude White of Royse city; one grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. E. P. Alvey of Lindale, Mrs. H. L. Lewallen of Bluffdale, Mrs. A. R. King of Lott, Texas; four brothers, James and Joe White of Lindale, Sam White of Bluffdale and D. White of Lott, Texas. He had lived in Kaufman County for 33 years.
