Bio

"George C. Peiser, 81, died Jan. 22, 1983, in Lockhart Hospital. He was born in Rockdale, Texas on Oct. 21, 1901, the son of Carl A. Peiser and Emma Praesel. He was a retired baker and a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lockhart. Mr. Peiser married Edna Schneider in Lockhart on Dec. 23, 1933." (Published in the Lockhart Post-Register January, 1983) (NOTE: Lawrence/Lorenz was George's step-father, but George was only 2 years old when Lorenz & Emma married. George's father died shortly after George was born, so Lorenz was the only father he ever knew.)
