Bio

Gregory “Greg” P. Reinke, 44, of Grand Island died Tuesday, June 7, 2005 in Grand Island. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2005 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Francis T. Curran officiating. A Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of Rosary on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. He was born June 29, 1960 at Beatrice, NE, the son of Lyle and Connie (Lee) Reinke. After his graduation from Plattsmouth High School, he began working for the Nebraska Public Power District. Greg and Tammy Rimel were married in 1983 at Bellevue, NE. The family resided in Hastings, NE for 12 years before moving to Grand Island in 2001 where he continued working for NPPD. “Greg” is survived by Tammy, one daughter: Mandie Reinke, one son: GabeReinke, all of Grand Island, his mother, Connie Reinke of Norfolk, NE, two brothers: Dan Reinke of Lincoln, NE, and Tim Reinke of Crete, NE, three sisters: Dianna (Mrs. Glenn) Bowers of Ashley, IL, Kathy (Mrs. Darrin) Sherman of Crete, NE, and Amy Reinke of Norfolk, NE. He was preceded in death by his father.
