Bio

Clarence J. Vlasak passed away May 31, 2008. Funeral Services were held June 5, 2008 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Tabor with Msgr. Hermann officiating. Burial at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery with military graveside rites. Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home in Tabor in charge of service. Clarence was born west of Tabor, SD to Joseph J. and Clara (Carda) Vlasak on November 27, 1916. Clarence and Helen (Noll) were married on June 6, 1939. Clarence is survived by wife Helen and sons Richard (Carole Hlavac) and their children: Dean, Pamela and Andrea; and David (Rosie Borszich) and their children: Timaree and Michael; eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Florence Koupal. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Joseph Clarence in 1963, one brother and two sisters. Yankton Press & Dakotan June 3, 2008
