Bio
Daughter of Frank & Albina (Mares) Parolek. She attended rural Schuyler school and graduated from Schuyler High School. She went to Wayne State Teachers College and later the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Charlotte taught in rural Colfax and Platte County schools for a number of years. She also taught at St. Isidore and St. Bonaventure Elementary Schools in Columbus. She married Dale Laudenklos on February 15, 1958 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Charlotte retired from teaching in 1980. Charlotte was a member of the church, enjoyed gardening and working with her show horses.
