Kenneth Kropatsch of Osceola died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at his home in Polk County. Kenneth J. Kropatsch was born March 16, 1944 in Columbus, NE to Leonard and Tillie (Germata) Kropatsch. He grew up north of Osceola where he attended District 39 School and graduated from Osceola High School in 1962. Ken married Julia Zywiec on July 13, 1968. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Ken farmed north of Osceola his entire life. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan, American Legion Post #263 in Silver Creek, and the Duncan VFW.
