Published in the Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, July 12, 1990, Page 8, column 1 Marlene Urbanovsky Services at Burwell Marlene Urbanovsky was born March 4, 1948 at Sargent, NE to Frank and Irene Pesek Koncel and died July 2, 1990 at the University Medical Center in Omaha, NE at the age of 42. Marlene had attended school at Dist. 52 and 29 and also attended Comstock High School until the eleventh grade, she then attended Ord High School and graduated in 1966. ON December 18, 1965 she was united in marriage to Stanley Urbanovsky at Elyria Catholic Church. Marlene was baptized in the Catholic Church April 13, 1968 and confirmed on April 30, 1972. She was involved in many activities. She played a bass guitar in her brothers band and was on a polka record release. She loved to fish and she loved to play volleyball and cards with family and friends. Marlene was currently employed at the Loup Valley Alfalfa Mill in Burwell. Survivors include her mother Irene Koncel of Comstock; her husband Stanley R. Urbanovsky of Burwell; three sons, Stanley Joe, Johnny and Jimmy all of Burwell; two daughters Janeane Spilinek of Elba and Janet Urbanovsky of Burwell; three grandchildren and a brother Larry Koncel of Comstock. She was preceded in death by her father and a son. Funeral services were held Friday July 6, 1990 at 10:30 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burwell and burial was in the Ord Bohemian Cemetery.
