Published in the Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, April 7, 1983, Page 8, Column 4 Graveside Rites Held For Lucille O'Brien Lucille (Kasal) O'Brien age 86, died April 1, 1983 in a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska following a massive stroke suffered 10 days prior to her death. Services were held in Omaha on Monday, April 4, 1983. Burial was in the Ord Cemetery on Tuesday, April 5, with Father Stanley Gorak officiating. Lucille was born December 12, 1896 in Ord, Nebraska to Matt and Josie Francl Kasal. She attended Ord Public School and graduated in 1915. On September 19, 1916, she was united in marriage to Joseph O'Brien. Survivors include one son, William, of Omaha and his wife, Nathalia; one grandson; one brother, Wm. Kasal of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Charlotte Kasal of Wolbach and Hattie Grabowski of North Loup; and one niece, Joyce Fafeita of Los Angeles, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister.
