Fremont Tribune (NE) - March 17, 2004 Stephen R. Kratochvil, 84, of Raymond died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Omaha. He was born Dec. 16, 1920, in rural Agnew. He was a farmer and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Valparaiso, Catholic Workmen, and V.A./Legion Club of Valparaiso. Survivors include: his wife, Georgia of Lincoln; a son, Stephen (and wife, Sharon) Kratochvil of Raymond, a sister, Clara Senderak of Arizona; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Valparaiso with the Rev. Thomas Kuffel officiating. A rosary will be said 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Wadlow-Rozanek Funeral Home in Valparaiso. Burial will be in St. Joseph Agnew Cemetery in Agnew.
