Masek, 39, Agnew, Dies George J. Masek, 39, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at his farm home a mile south and a quarter of a mile east of Agnew. Mr Masek had come into his home from the field, sat down to rest and died of a heart attack. Prominent in community affairs, he was known as a progressive farmer. Surviving are his wife, Agnes; son David T. at home, daughter Barbara A. at home; father, George Masek of Agnew, two sisters, Mrs. George Machacek of Weston and Mrs. Ernest Kastl of El Paso, Tex., and three brothers, Ernest of Weston, Joseph of Valparaiso and Richard of Raymond. Mr Masek was born at Valparaiso March 8, 1910, and had lived in the Valparaiso-Agnew vicinity all of his life. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Agnew, the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name society and the Catholic Workmen.
