Published in the Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, July 30, 1964, Page 8, Column 1 Reuben L. Lincoln Succumbs Saturday Minnesota services were held on Tuesday morning for Reuben L. Lincoln of Ottertail, who died Saturday after a heart attack. He was stricken Friday and taken to the hospital at Wadena. He was 68. Ord services will be today (Thursday) at 10 am at the Hastings-Pearson Chapel. Reverend Wilber Madsen will officiate and burial will be in the Ord Bohemian Cemetery with full military rites. Mr. Lincoln was a former Ord businessman, operating the L & I Tire and Battery shop here. He also farmed at North Loup for a time. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW and was affiliated with Ord Lodge No. 103 AF & AM. During retirement the past three years his home has been in Minnesota. He was born June 14, 1896 at Scotia, to Elmer and Fannie Hubert Lincoln. On Nov. 13, 1923, he married Vlasta Kasal at Council Bluffs, Ia. She died four years ago and he married Nona Glaser at Ottertail in February of 1962. Surviving are his wife and three brothers; Warren of Ord, Earl of Scotia and Lem of Long Beach, Calif.
