Irene B. Dzingle 92 of Loup City, NE died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Rose Lane Home in Loup City, NE. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City with Father Martin Egging officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City. There will be a Sodality Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church. Irene Bertha (Bogus) Dzingle was born May 16, 1921 at Ashton, Nebraska to John and Victoria (Gorecki) Bogus. She grew up and attended school in Ashton, NE. On August 22, 1939 she married Gilbert G. Dzingle at Paplin, Ne. Irene and Gilbert farmed in the Ashton and Loup City area all of their life. She was a devoted farm wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, Sodality Rosary and St. Anne's Quilting Club. She loved quilting, bingo, playing cards, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ervan and Marge Dzingle of Loup City, NE; daughters and sons-in-law, Gladys and Francis Maciejewski of Grand Island, NE; Pat and Herb Compton of Kearney, NE; Peg and Tommy Lyman of Ashton, NE; Janelle and Terry Mostek of Ashton, NE; 25 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; parents, John and Victoria Bogus; infant daughter, Norma Jean Dzingle; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edmund and Hattie Bogus and Lucian and Sylvina Bogus; infant brother, John Bogus; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alex and Minnie Dzingle and numerous nieces and nephews.
