Coach for Buckholts ISD for years. The Badgers Football Stadium is named for Coach Hauk. He made sure that he made it to every game until his health just wouldn't let him. *Texas 6-Man* *Hall of Fame of Coaches*** Inducted 2008 Hauk was named head coach in 1962 after two years as an assistant at Buckholts. He lead Buckholts to a 67-37-1 record over 11 Seasons. In 1964 and 65 the Badgers went 22-0 winning back to back regional championships, in a time when Regional was as far as a team could go in 6 man football.. Hauk was quite the innovator in his time introducing the wing T to 6 man football after running the single wing at Cameron. Another head ache for opponents was the "Buckholts Spread" .
