NOTE: His headstone shows the last name of Robertson; however, his wife's headstone right next to his shows, wife of J.I. Robinson. James Barto Robinson is also buried at Macedonia. His headstone shows, son of J.I. & M.E. Robinson. James Isaac's parents are listed as Robinson on findagrave. Per census records: 1850 census, the last name is Roberson. 1860 census, the last name is Roberson. 1880 census, James Isaac's last name is Roberson, however; William and Sophronia, who live next door, are listed as Robinson. 1900 census not found. 1910 census, the last name is Roeinson. 1920 census, the last name is Robertson. There is a marriage record for Mary E. Robinson and James Isaac Hollingsworth on June 30, 1874. (The Newton County Marriage Index has a footnote stating that the groom should be James Isaac "Ikie" Robinson.) The 1910 census shows that Mary and Isaac had been married for 36 years, which would be 1874.
