Bryan-College Station Eagle, Tue, Oct 12, 1982 August H. Kiel Deanville - August H. Kiel, 83, of Deanville died in a Caldwell hospital on Monday. He was bone in Fayette County and had lived in Deanville most of his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Deanville. His father, Gustav, died in 1899 due to typhoid. His mother, Emma, married Louis Kiel in 1901. August was raised by Louis. August was also preceded in death by his wife and one son, Leedel. He is survived by four sons, one daughter, two half-brothers, two-half sisters, one step-brother, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
