George J. Schuster of Immaculate Conception Church officiating. Pallbearers were William Rejda, James Chermok Jr., Glen Bourne, Delbert Boese, Berton Leavitt, and Arthur Harper. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ulysses. Mr. Chermok, a carpenter, died Monday, Jan. 29. He was born Dec. 7, 1904, at Brainard to Rudolph and Mary Chermok. He lived in the Ulysses area until 1942 when he moved to Lincoln. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Ulysses and the Lincoln Silent Club. Survivors include his wife, Freida, daughters, Mrs. Carol Thompson of Springville, Ia., Mrs. Shirley Dochow of Scottsdale, Ariz., his mother, Mrs. Mary Chermok of David City; a brother, James of David City; a sister, Mrs. Mary Cink of Lyons, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
