Bio

A. W. Wilkirson after long suffering died of pellagra Friday morning, and was buried here the evening of the next day. He had been born sixty-four years ago in Frankfort county, Ky., and came to Texas with his parents when still a child. Married to Miss Emma J. Kimbrough, he had six children: Mrs. Pearl McDonald of Dallas, Mrs. Isla Mann of Artesia, N.M., Aaron and Sidney of Quanah, Mack of Dallas, and Bert of Childress. The family moved here from Alvin in 1906, and Mrs. Wilkirson dying soon afterwards, her husband was married again three years later to Mrs. Nettie Walker, who survives him.
