MRS. RUGGLES, 44, PASSES AWAY HERE Mrs. Luther (Frances Ann) Ruggles, 601 West, 15th street, died at 3:03 a.m. today September 14, 1971, at Community hospital. She had been in failing health for a year. She re-entered the hospital the last time on September 6. Mrs. Ruggles suffered with a kidney ailment which had required frequent hospitalization for treatment in recent months. Born at Moorfield, Nebraska, July 29, 1927, Mrs. Ruggles was a daughter of Mrs. Emma Nelson and the late Edward C. Nelson. In 1929. she moved to Swanton, Nebraska with her parents and was graduated from high school there with the class of 1944. February 26, 1952 she was married lo Luther Ruggles at Hiawatha. The couple established their home here and lived here until 1966, when they moved to Muscatine, lowa. They returned here in January of this year and have lived here since. Besides her husband, Mrs. Ruggles is survived by two daughters, Cathy, 18, and Cheri Lynn, 9; two sons, Michael, 14, and Robert, 13, her mother, Mrs. Emma Nelson, Falls City, and a sister, Mrs. Richard Harmon, Falls City. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister in infancy The body of Mrs. Ruggles is here at Chaney-Hodgens-Clark funeral home where the rosary will be recited At 8' o'clock Wednesday evening. - The funeral mass will be held in their chapel at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Falls City Catholic Cemetery.
