Below info provided by Don Haynes Rachel M Ross was born Dec 22, 1833 in Illinois to Robinson Ross and Sabra Smalley. She married Napoleon Bonapart Fergusson in 1850 in Fayette County, Texas. He died in 1891 and is buried in Bold Springs Cemetery in West, Mclennan Co. Texas. She died Feb 7, 1912 in Hubbard Texas and is buried in her daughter, Maria Catherine Fergusson Gillam's plot in Fairview Cemetery at Hubbard, Tx. Wade Funeral Home of Hubbard verified that she is buried in the plot of James H and Maria C Fergusson Gillam. 2-11-1912 Dallas (TX) Morning News, p. 10 Hubbard, Tex., Feb. 10 - Mrs. R. M. Ferguson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Gillam, in Hubbard City. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. R. Waggener at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Gillam. Burial was made in City Cemetery.
