Bio

Josephine "Lizzie" Langley Rains passed away on May 4, 2013. She was born May 17, 1944 to Cody and Lizzie Langley but was raised by her grandparents Emmett and Minnie Coborn of Crockett, Texas. She attended Kennard High School and was a star basketball player. She loved the great outdoors to camp, fish and garden. Other hobbies were sewing and craftwork, but her greatest joy was her family. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Rains of Leonard, sister, Dorothy Ledford and husband Lealond of Brazoria, and one brother, Tony Shuttlesworth of Leonard. She will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date at the Hagen Cemetery in Crockett, Texas.
