Bio

Son of John Fitts and Mary Ann Carr Fitts. He fought in the War of 1812 as a Lieutenant under General Andrew Jackson at New Orleans, LA. He moved to Tennessee about 1822. He is buried in Eddyville, KY and his grave was covered over when a dam was built, according to Ranae Shurtz of Medford, OR. Married wife 1 Tabitha Winfree on November 14, 1811.
