Bio

David Albert Minton was the son of Richard William Minton and Mahala Anna Debord. On 9 November 1895, Scott County, TN., he married Mahala Portelia Adkins, by Starling Adkins, uncle of the bride. They had 9 children: Ruby Ruth, David Alvis, Robert Louis, Lester Newman, Floye Elizabeth, Sadie Rae, Jesse Mack, and Mary Emma Minton. He died of heart disease at the home of his daughter Ruby Robertson.
