Bio

Christine Mary Autrey, 87, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home with a Rosary prayer service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Christine was born in Grimes County, Texas, to the late Tony and Bessie Overdirth. She was a long time member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie. Christine loved music, dancing, and enjoyed being a member of the Waxahachie Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Autrey, in 1997; son, David Autrey in 1971; and brothers, Tony Overdirth, Jr. and Charles Overdirth. Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Hall and husband, Joe, of Waxahachie; grandson, Jason Duvall of Waxahachie; great-grandchildren, Jake Autrey Duvall and Savanna Grace Duvall, both of Waxahachie; sisters-in-law, Helen Autrey, of Waxahachie, Lois Autrey, of Georgetown, and Katie Overdirth Stanton, of Waxahachie; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
