Bio

Teresa Lea Carpenter Daly, 55, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, in Idaho Falls, following a serious stroke. Teresa was born May 12, 1957, in Texas, and about one year later, was joyfully welcomed into the Nathan Carpenter family of McKinney, Texas, by adoption. After graduating from McKinney High School, Teresa also studied at Bible Missionary Institute in Rock Island, Ill. On Aug. 19, 1988, Teresa was married to David Daly from Croydon, England. Teresa and David shared a love for nature, wildlife and the great outdoors. They lived in many different parts of the country and were recently living in Idaho Falls. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, William Nathan and Frances Gerlene Wallace Carpenter. She is survived by her husband, David; two very special dogs, Heidi and Bella; brothers, the Rev. William Nathan "Bill" (Marsha) Carpenter, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, and Jackie (Sonia) Carpenter of Tyler, TX; nieces, Jennifer (Sam) True and family, Charity (Mark) Mullins, and Angela Carpenter; a nephew, Nathan (Devan) Carpenter; and a host of relatives and friends. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today, May 11, at the East Fork Baptist Church, 2430 FM 546, in McKinney, Texas. Local arrangements have been under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls. Published in Post Register on May 11, 2013
