biographical note thnx to member N.Day 47245593 "When her husband retired in 1972, Mrs. Beer closed her salon and the two traveled for the next 15 years--they visited England, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Mexico and Hawaii and took several cruises as well. In 1986, during a two-week trip to Europe, Beer died of a heart attack."
