Bio

Geraldine Stapleton, 91, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Geraldine was born Oct. 28, 1921, in Sanger to Carlos and Gertrude Cates. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stapleton; sons, Marshall and Wesley Stapleton; grandson, Dustin Stapleton; and beloved sisters. Survivors: Son, Charles Glen Stapleton; daughter-in-law, Sandra Stapleton; grandchildren, Carl Wesley Stapleton Jr., Anthony Glen Stapleton, Jennifer Stapleton; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and beloved sisters.
