Bio
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in San Jacinto Church of Christ for Raymond D. Rowland, 65, of 923 S. Austin. Lemuel Phillips, minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Blackburn-Sahw Memorial Chapel. Mr. Rowland died Tuesday morning in Veterans Administration Hospital. Born in Roscoe, Tex., he had been an Amarillo resident since 1945. He was a printer at the Amarillo Globe News before his retirement in March. He was a member of San Jacinto Church of Christ and was a World War II veteran. He is survived by his wife, Daisey; a son, Dennis of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. E. L. Sewell of Duncan, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
