Bio

Margaret Clara Miller, 94, of Temple, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at a local living center. Services will be at Bunker Brothers in Las Vegas. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, with a rosary at 7 p.m., with Father Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial will be held at Bunker Memory Gardens in Las Vegas, Nevada. Margaret was born in Westphalia, Texas, to the late Joe E. and Agnes Kahlig Rieger. She married Wilhelm "Billy" J.O. Miller on June 19, 1947, in Corpus Christi. Margaret held a range of interesting jobs, from a welder at the bomb factory in Galveston during World War II, a child care provider, and as a Navy Fleet Reserve Associate Member for 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church since 1983. She is preceded in death by her husband; five sisters; and four brothers. Survivors include a son, David, of Temple; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of dear friends. Temple Daily Telegram: 4/19/2013
