Funeral services for Beulah Young Grisham, 93, of Lufkin will be held in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Horace Fletcher and Brother Bryan Lipscomb officiating. Interment will follow in the Parks Cemetery in Cherokee County. Mrs. Grisham was born February 9, 1920 in Pollok, Texas to the late J.B. and Mayze Ethel (Williamson) Young. She died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her home where her daughters and son-in-law cared for her. Mrs. Grisham had resided in Lufkin most of her life. She was a retired Secretary to the President of St. Regis Paper Mill, following 42 years of service. Mrs. Grisham was the co-owner of the Bible House and Rocky Hills Ranch. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a devoted Christian. Mrs. Grisham was a member of Providence Baptist Church where she served as secretary/treasurer for 42 years, and a faithful member of the Dorcas class. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Grisham and Lucy and Dwight Richardson; grandchildren, Deidra Richardson, Dwane Richardson and wife Dianna; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Brook, Kyla, and Dustin Richardson; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and special friends, Shana Scott and Kathryn Scott. Mrs. Grisham was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny and James Young; and sister, Ruth Milstead.
