Bio

"We, the Resolution Committee of SPJST Lodge No. 84, Dallas, Texas, in behalf of our officers and entire membership, wish to express our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family of our departed sister, Millie Vasek Bartek, who passed away May 6, 1986, at the age of 76. Just recently she moved from her Dallas home to Doctor's Nursing Home in Dallas. She was born in Bell County, Texas. Sister Bartek was a member of SPJST Lodge No. 84, RVOS No. 142, Dallas Brethren Church, and the Dallas Circle of Czech Women. She excelled in seamstress work, baking kolache and gardening (both flowers and vegetables). Services were held May 8th at the Ocker Brethren Church, east of Temple, Texas. The Rev. Henry Beseda officiated. Burial was in Ocker Brethren Cemetery. Survivors include daughter, Linda Coker; son-in-law, Richard Coker; three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were nephews... May our departed sister rest in eternal peace and may her memory live with us forever."
