EULESS — Modesta Reaves, 79, a homemaker, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, in Euless. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at Arlington Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Arlington Funeral Home in Arlington. Modesta Reaves was born May 26, 1922, in Hillsboro. She married Herman Nealy Reaves 10 Feb 1940 in Johnson County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman, and son, Jerry Don Reaves. Survivors: son, Gene Reaves and wife Louann of Grand Prairie; daughter, Joyce Wallace and husband John of Euless; brother, Harry Wright of Cleburne; sisters, Mary O'Rear of Granbury, Patsy Thacker of Cleburne and Donna Lord of Belton; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
