"Funeral services for Mrs. Emil Vasek, 50, a life-long resident of Bell County, were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Pace's Funeral Chapel here, followed by rites at the Czech Moravian Brethren Church at Seaton. Rev. F. J. Kostohryz officiated and burial was in Seaton Cemetery. Mrs. Vasek had been in ill health for several years but was able to come to town Saturday morning. She died at her home in the Anville [Airville] community at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. She was born May 20, 1905, in the Anville community. She was married to Emil Vasek in August, 1923, in Temple. Survivors include her husband, three sons, Daniel Vasek of Victoria, William Vasek and James Vasek, both of Temple, two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Wilde and Miss Shirley Vasek, both of Temple; and her mother, Mrs. W. R. Talas of Temple."
