Bio
Funeral services for Nicolas Ryan Orren, age 29 of Mount Vernon, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Harvey Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Moss officiating. Burial will be at the Old Saltillo Cemetery. Mr. Orren was born on March 12, 1984, the son of Morris Glenn Orren and Karen Lee Gibson. He married Heather Diann Chauvin on Jan. 12, 2007 in Paris. He was a mechanic and served in the United States Army in Iraq. He was of the Baptist faith. He died Sunday, April 7. He was preceded in death by his father in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Heather Orren of Mount Vernon; two daughters, Alexus Dainn Orren and Kadie Renee Orren, both of Mount Vernon; his mother, Karen Lee Orren of Mount Vernon; his brother, Elliot "Bo" Orren of Mount Vernon; and his grandparents, Eddie Ray and Doris Marie "Mama Sug" Gibson of Longview. Pallbearers will be Chase Nuziard, Kevin Rogers, Chris Nuziard, Cody Chauvin, Cody Bohler, Luke Denis, and Brett Fowler. Honorary pallbearer will be Elliot Orren. In lieu of flowers, a fund for the family has been established at the First National Bank of Mount Vernon "In Honor of Nick Orren."
