Bio

Mary Hellen Blackerby, 89, of Ennis, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013, in Dallas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013, in Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Ennis, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 19, 2013, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, with Father Antonio Ormaza as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ennis, Texas. Mary Hellen was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Frank and Mary Pastorek. She married Lloyd Clark Blackerby and was a lifetime member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Clark Blackerby; and a son, Lloyd F. Blackerby. Survivors include sons, Anthony Birchett and James Blackerby, of Ennis; grandchildren, Christine, Cynthia, James, Jr., Charlotte, and Vickie; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren, all of Ennis.
