Bio

Edna Wright Bolton, 89, St. Cloud, Fla., formerly of the Green Meadows and Mt. Victory communities, died Monday, March 31, 2003, in St. Cloud. She was born in Drum, Ky., Dec. 3, 1914, daughter of the late Smith and Eva Phelps Wright. A homemaker, mother and wife, she was of the Church of God faith. Survivors include three sons, Walter Bolton, St. Cloud, Lester (and Carolyn) Bolton, Little Rock, S.C., and Kenneth (and Carol) Bolton, Naugatuck, Conn.; two daughters, Delilah Jones, Oakville, Conn., and Evelyn (and Jerry) Summa, Homosassa, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Bolton, whom she married Sept. 10, 1930, in the Poplarville community, and who died Sept. 10, 2001; her parents; a daughter, Doris Rader; five brothers, Orville, Ralph, Claude, Herman and Charles Wright; a sister, Lois Kidd; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. William Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.
