Albright, Shirley A. Shirley A. Albright, age 84 of Brooksville, Florida, formerly of Ashland, passed away July 4, 2004 in Florida, with her children at her side. Shirley was born July 29, 1919 in Ashland, where she was raised by her parents James and Ruth Sullivan. She was a graduate of DePadua High School. She met, fell in love with and married Kenneth Albright. It was in Ashland that Shirley and Ken started their married life and family. She had made her home in Florida for many years. Shirley had the capacity to spread joy to every person she met. To her family and friends she was an exemplary role model. It was by her inspiration and devotion that her children, grandchildren and friends of many age groups went on to pursue their careers. She provided a tender touch, a listening ear and unconditional love to her family and friends. She inspired all around her with her acceptance of people just as they are. Always with class and grace she moved through her life. Everyone who met her, she left with a smile. As her family we are sure that as our mother gets to heaven, "God will be smiling." Survivors include her son, James (Maureen) Albright of Stanchfield, Minn.; daughters, RuthAnn (Ken) Anderson of Dade City, Fla. and Carol (Bill) Ashe of Ham Lake, Minn.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 50 years, Ken; and her brother, John "Jack" Albright. A graveside committal service and inurnment will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, at St. Agnes Cemetery in Ashland with Father Bill Rooney, O.F.M. officiating, with a luncheon to follow.
