Abilene Reporter October 20, 1999 Don Clark PADUCAH — Don Clark, 62, died Monday, October 18, 1999, in Lubbock. Services will be today at 2 p.m. in First United Methodist Church in Paducah with the Rev. Ed Peckham officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jeff Utter. Burial will follow in the Paducah Garden of Memories, directed by Seigler Funeral Home. Mr. Clark was born in 1937 in Paducah. He graduated from Paducah High School in 1955 and later graduated from North Texas State University, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Paducah Masonic Lodge No. 868, and a charter member of Scottish Rite of Lubbock. He was president of the Paducah Cemetery Association. He was employed by the Texas Department of Human Resources for 30 years and a lifelong resident of Paducah. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, J. Douglas Clark of Chicago; a daughter, Callie Thompson of Arlington; a sister, Laverne Rose of Arlington; his stepmother, Mildred Clark of Paducah; and a grandson. Memorials may be made to the Paducah Cemetery Association, the First Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
