Arminta C. Pass was born 1858, in Blount County, Tennessee, the daughter of Sarah Hicks Perkins Pass (1822-1898; FindAGrave Memorial: 27403914) and Sarah's second husband Samuel T. Pass (no death or burial information found.) In the 1860 U.S. Census, in Unitia, Blount, TN, Arminta C. Pass was 2 years old, with her widowed (again) mother Sarah Pass, and siblings Susan J. Pass 7, Daniel W. Perkins 17, Levi M. Perkins 15, and Jonathan Riley Perkins 13. In 1870, Arminta, age 12, lived in Friendsville, Blount, TN, with her mother Sarah Pass 48 (Can't Write with personal property valued at $700) and her married sister Susan Thompson 16 and husband James Thompson 18. On 2 May 1878, in Blount County, Arminta C. Pass married a widower, Jeremiah W.
