Bio
Ronald Hugh Couch, 63, Stillwater, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, in Stillwater Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Father Bill Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Strode Funeral Home. Couch was born Aug. 22, 1938, in Healdton to Horace and Ina (McCarroll) Couch. On Oct. 20, 1962, he married Carolyn Jackman in Marietta. She died July 3, 2001. Couch worked in vocational-technical education and served in the U.S. Navy as a jet engine mechanic. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He was a member of Church of Christ, Jaycees and Moose Lodge and was a Shriner. In addition to his wife, Couch was predeceased by his parents. Survivors include one son and one daughter, Dane Couch of Tulsa and Crystal Couch of Stillwater; one cousin, Yvonne Judd of Ardmore; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Clinic of Stillwater.
