Ruth A. Adams NAMPA — Services for Ruth A. Adams, 76, of 1611 E. Lincoln Ave., Nampa, who died Tuesday at home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, the Rev. Frank Solberg, Nampa Peace Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. She was born Oct. 6, 1902, at West Union, Neb., where she was reared and educated. She married Alvin C. Adams July 19, 1920, at Broken Bow, Neb. They lived in Sargent, Neb., before moving to Nampa in 1934 where they farmed until retiring in 1965. She was a member of the Nampa Peace Lutheran Church. Surviving are a brother, Lyle Orvis of Sargent, Neb.; two sisters-in-law, Vina Orvis of Carnation, Wash., and Carrie Orvis of Malott, Wash.; a cousin, Mrs. Don (Zoe) Lysinger of Fruitland; and several nieces and nephews.
