CHARLENE ZIMMERMAN Charlene Zimmerman, age 89, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Nolan Nursing & Rehab. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. Charlene was born on February 8, 1924 in Hamilton, Texas to Charlie and Lena (Lucas) Jeschke. She married Joe Zimmerman on August 21, 1948 in Hamilton, Texas. She was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and also worked for Village Meat Market and reitred in 1987. She is survived by her two daughters, Jo Ann Palmer and husband Roger, and Darlene Pannell, all of Sweetwater, Texas; four grandchildren, Jolene Terry and husband Randall, Teresa deVelasco and husband Raul, John Palmer and wife Shawna, and Dawn Buhrmann and husband Patrick; three great grandchildren, Devynn, Brooke and Iain; five step great grandchildren, Zachary, Riley, Hunter, Jordan and Raul Victor; and one brother, DuWayne Jeschke of Hamilton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lena Jeschke, husband, Joe Zimmerman, brother, Gardine (Sonny) Jeschke, and granddaughter-in-law, Sandy Palmer. Pallbearers will be John Palmer, Randall Terry, Tex Leach, Jackie Trent, George Cervick and Jay Soules.
