Bio

Glenna Pearl Nicely Hinkle Taylor, 84, of Fairlea, formerly of Williamsburg went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 11, 2013 at Greenbrier Manor. Born January 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ocie Cogar Nicely and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by two sons Robert and Roger, a sister, Nelva Zimmerman and grandson, Tinker Hinkle. Glenna worked as a maid at The Greenbrier for several years and attended First Baptist Church at Trout. Survivors include three sons, Scott Hinkle and wife, Ann of South Carolina, Delbert Hinkle and wife, Melody of Manassas, VA and Darrell Hinkle of Ronceverte; daughter, Joyce Spence and husband, Junior of Caldwell; brother Denzil Nicely of Texas; eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral service was Monday, January 14 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with pastor Everett Defibaugh officiating. Burial followed in Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg.
