Bio

Charlie R. Joslin, 77, passed away to his Lord early Friday, April 5, 2013. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Langley and Rev. Jim Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Charles Ray was born in Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas, to the late Elmer and Ida Maples Joslin. He provided for his family at a young age after losing his father. Charlie's early career was launched at Boeing and he went on to become an industrial engineer and inventor. He was proud to serve in the U.S. Air National Guard for several years. Learning was a joy to him and he was always available to help anyone who had even the smallest need. His humor was both intelligent and legendary, enjoyed by many around him. He was preceded in death by sisters, Ruby and Bonnie; and brothers, Albert and Joe Joslin. Survivors include his wife, Rosa, of Waxahachie; son, Dr. Eddie Joslin and wife, Shirley, of Waxahachie; daughter, Rita Joslin, of Mesquite, Texas; granddaughter, Emily Joslin, of Waxahachie; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends and other family.
