Texas City Victim Buried Last Sunday Funeral services for Ed Krcha, 45, were conducted with those of other unidentified dead in the mass burial in Texas City Sunday afternoon. Mr. Krcha, an employee of the Monsanto Chemical company, died in the Texas City explosions April 16. Mr. Krcha formerly was a resident of Richmond, moving to Texas City three years ago. He was born in Washington county, February 6, 1902. He lived in Fort Bend county since 1925. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ed Krcha, and two sons, Edward and Clifford. ======================================= Published in the Texas Coaster on 26 Jun 1947
