Funeral services for Howard Eugene Winchester, 69, of DeKalb, were held Friday at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Brother Ronny Spence officiating. Burial was held in Piney Grove Cemetery. Mr. Winchester passed away August 17, 2012. He was born July 29, 1943, in Wood County to late Thomas Howard and Dora May Hilburn Winchester. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Survivors include his son, Clay Winchester of Garland; daughter, Darla Ross of DeKalb; brother, Ricky Winchester of Tyler; sister, Bobby Redding of Texarkana; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
