Bio

Neva Nell Ward Grimes was born in Dike, Texas on August 28, 1926 to George W. and Lillie Mae Ward. She and Jack R. Grimes met on a blind date shortly after WW II and married on June 8, 1947. Nell loved young children and delighted in teaching pre-school Bible classes. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, two daughters and their husbands; four grandchildren and two beloved great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, June 13, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in Restland's Memorial Chapel. --Restland obituary (edited)
