Arthur John Chatellier, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at La. Heart Hospital, at the age of 79. US Army Veteran, A Member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish for 56 years, Mandeville Volunteer Firefighter for 50 years, a Member of the Mandeville Lions Club for many years, and he was retired from the Times Picayune. Beloved husband of Zona Lacoume. Father of John Chatellier (Barb), Kent Chatellier (Kelly) and Robin Chatellier. Son of the late Arthur and Josephine Chatellier. Brother of Bernice C. Mayeux, Mary C. Brewster, Sandy C. Granger (Troy) and the late Altha Mae C. Snyder and Colleen C. Bardwell. Grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Our Lady of the Lake CC on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 12:30 pm. Visitation at the church from 11:00 am until mass time. Interment immediately following at Mandeville Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Mandeville Lions Club after the interment. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA.
