Bio

Cora Frances Rich was born February 17, 1886 in Grayson County, Texas, daughter of Henry Sanford Rich (1859-1939) and Lucy Rowe (1869-1946). On November 3, 1909, Cora married George Edgar Hatfield, who was born September 13, 1872 in Texas. The 1920 Federal Census for Bennington, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows Cora Hatfield, age 34, born in Texas; and her husband, George E. Hatfield, a farmer, age 49, born in Texas. Living with them were three children: Edgar F. Hatfield, age 9; Charles A. Hatfield, age 7; and Margaret Hatfield, age 2; all born in Texas.
